The name Gdo̠ Ktud Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Gdo̠ Ktud Ner was founded by Snugbrix Sorthonoc, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Gdo̠ Ktud Ner receives an average of 203 cm/y (79 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Gdo̠ Ktud Ner covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 4112 m (13490 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner was founded durring the early 15th century in summer of the year 1444, by Snugbrix Sorthonoc. The establishment of Gdo̠ Ktud Ner suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gdo̠ Ktud Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner is is constructed arround a series of restrictive packed earth mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. Unfortuantly, these would-be-castle fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Gdo̠ Ktud Ner’s streets. A look around Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Gdo̠ Ktud Ner long.

Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has a Department of Firefighters, which is responsible for organizing fire fighting efforts during a fire and enforcing local ordinances relating to fire safety.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Gdo̠ Ktud Ner's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner's citizens locals enjoy many vices and lustful appetites. They may have religious sanction for their deeds, or neighbors might trade with them for such things, or they could be followers of some ideology that blesses such pursuits. Their economy or their social organization is usually heavily reliant on such traffic, and to ensure its continuance they may have made bargains with various mortal and immortal powers.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is recurring in Gdo̠ Ktud Ner.
The Giant cockroach near Gdo̠ Ktud Ner are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Gdo̠ Ktud Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves square dance to channel Enchantment energies of tier 3 via divine sermons.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Gdo̠ Ktud Ner was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Gdo̠ Ktud Ner lost 181 people, 219 livestock, and 88 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 180, when members of Gdo̠ Ktud Ner's militia enacted an operation to scout a specific location for information about a particular ruin. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with the defense of the ruin against a siege, which ended in defeat for Gdo̠ Ktud Ner's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Gdo̠ Ktud Ner's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
